The practice

I opened Voss Dental in 2019 after a decade at a busy Queen West group practice. What I kept noticing: patients were anxious not because of the work itself, but because they didn't know what was happening, what it would cost, or whether anyone was listening. So I built a practice that does the opposite.

We're a two-chair studio at 1190 Queen St W, Suite 202 — just west of Ossington, above the café with the red awning. No reception desk separating you from the team. Appointments run on time because we leave breathing room between them. Every treatment plan comes with a plain-English breakdown and a price that won't change.

I grew up in Parkdale, went to U of T, then Western for dental school. I live in the neighbourhood, I shop on the strip, and I genuinely like the people who sit in my chair. That's the whole philosophy.

Every fee listed is what you pay — no surprises, no facility fees, no fine print. Direct billing to most insurers.

Exam & consult

Full intraoral exam, cancer screening, bite assessment, and a conversation about anything you're noticing. New patients get digital X-rays included.

Cleaning (adult)

Scale, polish, fluoride treatment, and tailored home-care advice. We use air-polish for stain removal — gentler than the old gritty paste.

Composite filling

Tooth-coloured, single-surface restoration. Matched to your tooth shade, cured in layers, polished same visit. Local anaesthetic always offered, never assumed.

Wisdom tooth extraction

Simple (erupted) extraction under local. We refer complex or impacted cases to our oral surgeon two blocks over — same building, different floor.

Invisalign® consult

iTero digital scan, ClinCheck simulation showing your projected movement, and a flat-fee quote. No charge for the consult; the scan is $80 if you proceed.

Crown (CEREC)

Same-visit porcelain crown — milled in-office, no temporary, no second appointment. Single-unit, shaded to match adjacent teeth.

Same-day slot reserved for existing patients. Assessment, X-ray, palliative treatment (temporary filling, ibuprofen prescription, or referral).

Night guard (custom)

Hard/soft laminate guard for bruxism. Digital impression, lab-fabricated, delivered in one week. Adjustments included for 30 days.

How we work

Every new patient gets a full 45-minute appointment. We talk before we look.

Treatment plans are one price, itemised, and emailed before any work begins.

We use digital everything — scanner, X-rays — less radiation, less gagging, less guessing.

Uninsured? We offer a direct-care discount and payment plans for work over $500.
